Space Video of the Day - 080215

Thirty years ago a new science fiction TV show premiered, at the time the most expensive TV show ever made, entitled Battlestar Galactica. Its competition on the other networks that night were the Emmy awards and King Kong, and BSG's ratings blew them both out of the water. It starred among others Richard Hatch, who basically kept the BSG legacy alive pretty much single-handed through his novels and a short film, until the new BSG series premiered in 2004 on the Sci-Fi channel (starring among others, Richard Hatch). Today's space video of the day is a documentary about the original Battlestar Galactica TV series. This documentary predates the new TV series.
